🐑 Lamb Bottle Feeding Experience – Easter Half Term! 🐑

Looking for something fun (and a little bit messy) for the kids this Easter?

Join us for a simple, hands-on lamb bottle feeding experience with a small group of friendly lambs – including some orphans and triplets who are being bottle-fed to help them grow strong. They absolutely love the attention, so it’s perfect for young animal lovers 💛

📅 Dates: 6th, 7th & 8th April
⏰ 3:00 PM sessions (max 4 children per session)
📍 Held in a real grass field with livestock – it may be muddy!

👉 Please wear wellies and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

💷 Price: £10 per child
💵 Payment: Cash on arrival

We’ve been getting things ready for Easter here on the farm, and it’s made us reflect on how important these kinds of experiences really are 🌿

In the early years, we teach children the sounds — a cow says moo, a sheep says baa 🐄🐑
But in such a fast-paced world, how many ever get the chance to truly experience it for themselves?

Life feels so busy for everyone at the moment. Constant schedules, noise, and rushing from one thing to the next.

Out here, things are a little different.

Animals have a way of slowing everything down. Watching a newborn lamb take its first steps 🐑, seeing how they grow, and spending quiet time around them reminds you to pause, breathe, and just be present for a moment.

It’s something really special for children (and adults too).

🐑 Easter Half Term at Twin Oaks 🐑

Bookings are now open for visits over the Easter half term.

You’re very welcome to come and spend some quiet time with our lambs, who are used to gentle handling and attention.

🍼 Bottle Feeding
Bottle feeding will be available, with a small number of slots released closer to the time.

These lambs are either orphans or require supplementary feeding. None have been separated from their mothers for this experience.

🐑 EASTER HALF TERM AT TWIN OAKS – IT’S HAPPENING! 🐑

We were honestly blown away by the response to our last post – thank you! ❤️

So… we’re going ahead 🎉

Our friendly orphan and triplet lambs (the ones who think they’re basically pets at this point) will be ready to meet you all this Easter Half Term. Expect lots of fussing.

🍼 Bottle feeding:
We’ll have a very limited number of bottle feeding slots available as an optional extra for those who want to help with the daily feeds (details coming soon).

We’re just finalising dates and time slots now, so bear with us – more details coming very soon.

🐑 EASTER HALF TERM AT TWIN OAKS? 🐑

(Buxton road, Cawston)

We have a few lambs (our orphans and triplets) who are currently bottle-supported to make sure they’re growing strong. They are very friendly and always looking for a bit of extra fuss, so we’re thinking of inviting some local families down to meet them this Easter Half Term.

We aren't a big commercial park—just a real working farm, fresh air, and a hands-on experience in our grass pens.

The Plan:
The Pen: A chance for the kids to get in the grass pen for a proper hand on experience with the lambs.

The Details:
💰 Entry: £5 per child (Cash only please).
🍼 Bottle Feeding Slots: We will have a very limited number of feeding slots available as an optional extra for those who want to help us with the daily bottles (Extra cash charge applies).

WOULD YOU COME?
We are looking at dates for the Easter Half Term holidays. We want to see if there’s enough interest.
