Dark Chocolate Kefir Brownies (No Nuts) - we think you're gonna love theseπ
Hereβs a rich, ultra-moist dark chocolate brownie recipe using our Tims Greek Family Natural Kefir which makes these so moist and delicious. Itβs our secret ingredient. You can serve them too with a generous helping of Vanilla yogurt or kefir β perfect!
Ingredients:π₯£
200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa, chopped)
150g unsalted butter
200g caster sugar
100g light brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
150g plain flour
30g cocoa powder (good quality, unsweetened)
Β½ tsp salt
150ml Tims Greek Family Natural Kefir
Method:π©βπ³
Preheat oven to 170Β°C (fan 150Β°C)
Line a 20x20 cm baking tin
Gently melt chocolate & butter together (microwave or bain-marie)
Stir until smooth and glossy
Whisk eggs + both sugars until thick and slightly pale - this helps create that shiny brownie top
Combine - stir melted chocolate mixture into eggs
Add vanilla extract
Fold in the kefir β this is your secret weapon for moisture and slight tang
Dry ingredients
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt
Fold gently (donβt overmix)
Bake
Pour into tin and level
Bake for 20β25 minutes
Centre should still be slightly soft (it firms up as it cools)
Cool completely
This is key for fudgy texture β resist cutting early!
