We’re proud to announce that Chapel-en-le-Frith Craft Brewing has won TWO SILVER MEDALS at the 2025 SIBA Independent Beer Awards. 🍺🥈🥈

Our results:
🍺 LENINGRAD - Amber/Brown/Red Ale bottle/can category – SILVER
🍺 GALAXY - Session Pale Ale bottle/can category – SILVER

This recognition means a great deal to us.

The last time we entered the competition was back in 2021, when our beers achieved Gold and Silver under SIBA’s previous judging format.

Since then, SIBA has introduced a new score-based assessment system.
Medals are no longer awarded simply by finishing position; instead, they are achieved only if a beer reaches a very high technical threshold across aroma, flavour, balance, accuracy to style, and overall quality. This change has made medals significantly harder to attain.

With that in mind, we’re delighted that both beers we entered this year met the new criteria and earned Silver under the tougher system. As a small brewery, this recognition is incredibly meaningful and reflects the work, care, and time that goes into every batch we produce. We have matched the achievement of some massive names in the brewing industry.
