🌙Friars Supermoon — “Jazz” 🦄
3-year-old Welsh Section A Gelding | Currently Standing at 11.3–12hh
Crossreguill Stud reluctantly offers for sale our beautiful Friars Supermoon, affectionately known as “Jazz”, but only to the very best of homes.
This is a serious opportunity to acquire a seriously special little pony with the breeding, confirmation, bone & temperament and upbringing to make an exceptional lead rein, first ridden or all-round family pony.
Jazz was bought by ourselves as a foal from our good friend Sian Morris of the highly reputable Friars and Neuaddparc Stud, Wales.
He is beautifully bred, by Thistledown Stroma and out of Friars Supernatural — two ponies we have admired enormously.
His breeding being one of the main reasons we purchased him, being the closest relation available to our beautiful Friars Starstruck, who we later sold to Paula Smith and her family to begin his career as a wonderful lead rein pony.
Jazz has been very well shown as a yearling, attending youngstock shows with good results and being kept in a huge class of Yearling Section A Colts at the Royal Welsh.🏴
He is extremely well travelled and has been handled daily by the whole family, including our 12-year-old Poppy.
His temperament is quite simply second to none.
He is the safest, coolest little guy you could wish to meet — kind, sensible, willing and incredibly easy to have around.
We genuinely believe he has all the qualities to excel as a lead rein, first ridden and family pony, particularly for young children.
Sadly, we simply don't have a jockey small enough for him here, which is the only reason he is being offered for sale.
Jazz is accustomed to everything that comes with life at a busy working farm and stud. He is used to cattle, Highland cows, sheep, dogs, poultry and all the usual sights, sounds and activity of farm life. He is handled regularly and is an absolute gentleman.
He was gelded in March and currently turns out happily with the herd. He is equally happy living in or out and is excellent for the vet and farrier.
He has no vices, is up to date with vaccinations and is genuinely one of the nicest young ponies we have had the pleasure of owning.
We are in absolutely no rush to sell Jazz. In fact, unless the very best home comes along, he will quite happily stay here with us for life.
He is a pony we are incredibly fond of, and therefore his future home is far more important to us than simply selling him.
