Success today at the suffolkshow for Ross. He won the farm gadget invention competition with his trailer light testing box. We also took a look at the new tyres at Treadfirst we are using for another exciting farm machinery adaptation. Photos of that one in due course….

Coppicing last week using a tree shear to rejuvenate a hedge which has no bottom growth or thickness. The new growth should result in a bushier thicker hedge which will be better for nesting birds and wildlife. We will follow the progress and plant up any gaps next winter if necessary.

If you run alone or have ever thought about starting, I’d really recommend halsteadroadrunners. I joined last January as a lone long-term runner and it’s been brilliant — friendly, supportive, and welcoming to all ages and abilities. I’ve learned so much and have improved my running technique. Couch to 5K or main group, you’ll be made to feel very welcome. And honestly… what else are you doing on a dark January Wednesday evening? 🏃‍♀️
