There are times in business when I genuinely question why I am doing this.

After another mindless act of vandalism at our property last night, this morning was certainly one of those times. With our daughter undergoing an operation today, the last thing we needed as a family was to deal with further criminal damage to our business.

However, the wonderful business owners of Chard never fail to support us. A heartfelt thank you to the lovely ladies from and for notifying us so early, and to everyone else who has called and offered their support.

We will not be driven away. We will continue working hard as a family business, bringing fabulous hair, beauty and aesthetic treatments to Chard.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand beside us. It truly means a great deal. ❤️

Another full-on day of training, and I am absolutely loving it!

Today, I also had a very exciting conversation with about the next chapter of my business journey.

There is still plenty of hard work ahead, but exciting plans are beginning to take shape. Watch this space… ✨

Up at 4am. On the train by 5.10am and in Warrington by 9.30am.

Three hours of studying on the journey, followed by a full day of Level 7 practical training and another four hours of assignments afterwards… zzzzz!

I sat next to a nurse on the train who asked, “Are you studying aesthetics?”

“Yes, I have been for about 15 years,” I replied.

We had a great conversation about the industry, as she also works within an aesthetics clinic.

The learning never stops. Experience matters, but so does continuing to study, develop and raise professional standards.

Now, I think I have earned some sleep!

After a busy day training my Level 2 Beauty Therapy student in waxing, this was the perfect way to finish the day. 🤍

Sitting in the beautiful Somerset countryside, watching my daughter enjoy her riding lesson. 🐴

Running businesses, training the next success stories and being a mum means life is certainly busy, but these are the moments that make me stop and appreciate the balance.
