We’re absolutely delighted to introduce you all to Nick, who will be joining us at the Saturday Market from 10th October! 🎉

Nick has been trading for over 20 years, bringing fresh, local produce at great prices something we feel is incredibly important. Good quality, fresh food that should be accessible for everyone,. ❤️

I’ve just had a lovely chat with Nick over the phone, and I am really excited to welcome him to the market. Some of you may already know Nick, and there’s an extra lovely connection… he also knew Tony! ❤️

We’re sure you’ll all give Nick the warmest of welcomes and show him the fantastic community support that makes our market so special.

🍎🥦 WE’RE ON THE HUNT FOR A FRUIT & VEG TRADER! 🥕🍓

We’ve been looking in lots of different places, but we’re hoping that with the power of Facebook and our amazing local community, we can make this happen! 🤞

As many of you will know, our much-loved fruit & veg trader Tony has recently retired. ❤️

This isn’t about replacing Tony because quite simply, you can’t replace someone like him. Tony has been a huge part of our Saturday Market, and he kept the fruit & veg stall going because he didn’t want to see it come to an end. In fact, he wanted to see it grow and continue for years to come.

Tony was completely open to us finding someone else to take over the stall and carry on what he started and that’s exactly what we’d love to do. 🍏🍅

So, we’re looking for someone who works hard, takes pride in what they do and would love the opportunity to become part of the Saturday Market in Chard town.

🥕🍎 After 44 years, it’s time to hang up the coat! 🍎🥕

Today we say a very fond farewell to our lovely local fruit and veg man, who after an incredible 44 years has decided it’s time to call it a day and enjoy his well deserved retirement. ❤️

What a wonderful milestone and what an amazing amount of time spent serving the local community. He’s such a kind, sweet and friendly man, and he’ll certainly be missed!

Wishing you a very happy and relaxing retirement you’ve definitely earned it! 🥂🎉

I’m sure we’ll still see you around though!
