A very special cake went out today, my daughter and Scarlett have been friends since they were 3, so of course it was my absolute pleasure to make her cake……I just hope they enjoy it, and I can still bake a cake 🤞

I’m doing this walk in memory of my dad, he was such a big part of my life and I miss him so much it hurts, I really hope he sees me doing this and I can make him just a little bit proud 🥰

16 years ago today I made my first stacked cake (so out of my depth, I don’t even think I boarded each tier 🤦‍♀️🤣)
But my little girl wanted a princess castle and I was going to do my best.
My cake journey started after my best friend in the whole world asked me to make her mums 60th cake, I’ve since then lost that amazing best friend to cancer (15 years ago) another best friend passed away from cancer a few years ago, I’ve recently lost my dad (my absolute hero) and yesterday my mum had breast cancer removed.
Today I’m sitting here wondering how to carry on without my dad, being there for my mum, my children and where on earth I go with my baking 🤷‍♀️😔
I feel my dad and my best friend telling me to carry on because they were my biggest supporters, but I honestly don’t know if I have it in me anymore.
How do u carry on when everything reminds u of them 🤷‍♀️

This cake went out this morning, it was booked in a while ago and for one of my favourite customers, always leaves it up to me, the only request chocolate drip cake and cadburys.
She has a special topper that she’ll put on later at the event.
I hope the gentleman has a great birthday and enjoys the cake 🥳
