We often get questions about who we are, are we a new business? No, we've been established as a restaurant serving Mexican and Spanish food here in the same place for 30 years. 58 High Street Chatham was first officially opened as Cafe Sol in 1996.

We are Medway's oldest original Mexican and Spanish restaurant, serving everything from Tapas to Tacos, there's something for everyone including lots of vegan options.

Our Spanish tapas menu includes as pictured,
• Patatas a lo Pobre - Slow-cooked rustic potatoes with sweet peppers and onions.
• Panceta de Cerdo - Crispy, rich, melt-in-the-middle pork belly.
• Tortilla Española & classic Spanish potato omelette.

Mix and match from our favourite nibbles and tapas:

Thank you New Openings Rochester for popping in to see us. You can see how close we are to Rochester as it just steps into Chatham. This stretch from Star Hill to Sun Pier is known as The Old High St. Intra, it's full of so many creatives and community venues. If you've not visited for a while then now's your time.
