It’s really hard to write this but we wanted to share an important update about Thai by Tai.

After an incredible two years, our journey with the food truck has come to an end.

Over the past two years, this journey has meant so much to us. What started as a small mobile food truck grew into something truly special, thanks to all of you—our amazing customers, supporters, and friends.
Your loyalty, kind words, and enthusiasm helped us build something we will always be proud of.

During our recent time in Thailand, our paths have taken us in different directions personally, and we made the difficult decision to go our separate ways.

Because of that, we’re heartbroken to say that Thai by Tai will not be reopening and will now close.
We know many of you were looking forward to seeing us again next month, and we are so sorry to let you down. This isn’t how we ever imagined things would end, and it’s incredibly sad for us to say goodbye like this.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every visit, every queue, every recommendation, every message, and every smile shared at the truck. You supported a small dream and helped turn it into something unforgettable.
We are incredibly grateful for the past two years and for each and every one of you who was part of the Thai by Tai story.

Tonight (Friday) is our final Pop-Up of 2025.

We are so thankful for—and humbled by—the incredible support we’ve received from our local communities and customers this year.

To show our gratitude, we’d like to offer free food tonight to anyone in the Cheddar and Axbridge area who needs it.

If you’re elderly and living on a state pension, receiving benefits or food vouchers, or part of a family that can’t remember the last time you could afford or justify a takeaway—you are warmly welcome. Your food is on us.

No questions asked. Just order your food and tell me that you’re “collecting for Cheddar Mums.”
