🚧 Road closure update – we ARE still open! 🍻

If you’ve spotted the A371/Draycott Road closure and wondered whether you can still get to us, the answer is YES!

Cheddar Ales Brewery & Tap Room remains open as usual and you can still reach us throughout the works.

The road is currently closed between the garden centre and the School Lane/Strawberry Fields junction, so you may need to follow the diversion depending on which direction you’re coming from.

🚗 Diversion via Redcliffe Street, Bradley Cross and Top Road

Looking for somewhere a little different for your next celebration? 🍻

Did you know you can hire Cheddar Ales for private parties?

We’ve got plenty of space, a fully licensed bar (with plenty of locally brewed b**r, of course 🍺) and seating for 90+ guests, with room for even more if you’re happy to stand and mingle.

Venue hire is just £50 + VAT, you’re welcome to decorate beforehand and food can be arranged too – including pizza from our regular pizza van. 🍕

Part of the Cheddar Ales family since 2015, Catherine is the one who keeps everything ticking behind the scenes. From organising events and looking after customers to managing sales, marketing and the office, she wears many hats – and before long she'll also be Mrs Ham! 🍻

🎶 Back by popular demand... and this year, he's joining us twice! 🍻

Join us on Saturday 29th August for the Bank Holiday weekend as we welcome Harrisen Larner-Main back to Cheddar Ales.

After a fantastic response to his performances last year, Harrisen returns with another afternoon of brilliant live music. Well known across the West Country, this talented singer-songwriter and guitarist even auditioned for The Voice UK.

No booking required – just come along and enjoy the atmosphere.

Next up is Matt, our Tap Room Manager and Brewery Assistant.

Since joining Cheddar Ales in January 2024, Matt has become the glue that holds the brewery and Tap Room together. Whether he's pulling pints, helping in the brewery or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, his hard work and dedication make a huge difference every day. We're lucky to have him on the team! 🍻
