Look who I found on my route! Ever since the warm weather arrived, even they’ve been hiding — they no longer parade through the trees all day like they did in previous months.
Today I went out for a run thinking I shouldn’t miss the ‘coolest’ day of the week and that I should at least run 5 km. And because the weather felt quite okay at the beginning, I said: ‘Why not run 10 km!’
Of course, by the time I finished, the temperature had already gone up by a lot. ☀️☀️
How are you coping with the heat? I feel like I’m constantly in a free sauna. 🤣🤭

If two years ago the strawberry harvest was so big that I couldn’t pick and eat them as fast as they were growing, this year only a few strawberries managed to survive. They kept drying out and dying despite watering them as much as I could. And on top of that, the snails were feasting on them.
But the raspberries—another year later—have grown even thicker and more abundant. This year they spoiled us with plenty of fruit, especially after those weeks of daily rain.
So if you have a little corner in your garden, don’t hesitate to plant a few raspberry bushes. They’re not fussy at all and will reward you generously with fragrant, delicious raspberries. They love both shade and sun just the same.
