ALL SMILES & GOOD VIBES YESTERDAY

We were stunned and overfilled with joy at the long queue we had. Thanks to everyone who come and bought food. We love to see returning faces, some even from where we 1st started.

Love to see people enjoying the as well 🙌🏽

We'll be this Saturday from 10AM - 5PM serving food at the long awaited return of their amazing street party which we can't wait to be apart of!

The next day we'll be at Leigh Marina for another Foodies Market from 10AM - 3PM, doing only what we know how to do best come through with the food, good vibes and of course the tunes 🎶🎵

RICE & PEAS

A classic Caribbean dish or side made with rice, kidney beans, coconut milk, thyme, garlic and scallions. Rich, fragrant and full of island flavour, it’s a staple at family gatherings and celebrations. Traditionally served with jerk meats or fried fish, it represents comfort, culture and authentic Jamaican cuisine.

Origin: West Africa, particularly in Ghana and Ivory Coast (Akan Tribe), in the 1600s was brought to the Caribbean and the slaves adapted it based on resources available

Fun Fact: You can use pigeon peas (Gungo Peas) but a lot of people use the red kidney beans which brings the Reddish brown, pinkish colour out into the rice

We finished a crazy year in 2025, full of hard work, passion and joy in what we do at Island Touch. WE COOK WITH LOVE 💚💛❤️

We love having our regular spot at the , you can guarantee to see us there this year, every 2nd Sunday of the month at Hylands Park - 10AM - 3PM.

We got involved in some really great events in 2025 to showcase what we do best with our food and customer service in which we always make sure is at a top standard to retain our regulars and attract new faces.

We're now in 2026, in a new year, with more excitement to come but one thing that always remains is we always show up and show out! 💚💛❤️
