The daisies have popped!
I’m back from holiday and walked straight into a sea of daisies — they’ve exploded early and look amazing right now.

Photographers: the daisy and wildflower area on our farm is available to hire for the next week including next weekend (maybe longer if the blooms behave).
Just to note — this isn’t part of the sunflower field, but it does sit beside a beautiful grass meadow (usable until it’s cut for hay) and a wheat field that can also be used for shoots.

We’re knee‑deep in planning here at Sunflower HQ, and we’ve been chatting about mixing things up a bit this year. A few new events, a few new ideas… all very exciting!

So we’re on the lookout for lovely field‑friendly or acoustic musicians to add to our mix — and we could possibly add a hoe‑down band in the mix too…

We’re proud to be Y for Yellow in A-Z of Summer, featuring an amazing photo by I can’t quite believe we’re getting ready for our 23rd summer! We’re planning to open in July and can’t wait to fill your days with sunshine, smiles and a whole field of yellow. x Jo 🌻

🎄✨ It’s that time of year again! For the 9th year running, the wonderful folk from are back with their annual Xmas Tree Sale to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital! 🌟

Catch them next weekend at The Warren Estate, CM1 3WT, opposite the old Sunflower patch.

Every tree sold makes a difference, with 100% of proceeds going directly to GOSH. Plus, they donate a tree each year to the local Church and Doctors Surgery, so be sure to check them out!

It’s no secret that this has been on of the toughest years we’ve faced on the flower field. Weeks of scorching heat and no rain at all really took its toll… and then of course, just as we opened the weather decided to change its mind again, and gave us a good old British soaking!

BUT - you still showed up for us! And we are honestly so greatful for every single person who came to visit, rain or shine, first timers or those that have been coming for twenty years!

With the problems currently facing British agriculture, these flowers have become such an important part of our family business - so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you 💛 You helped us keep the field blooming - and you’ve kept us going for another year.

We’ve put the flowers to bed now, and this felt like a fitting image to end the season. Taken by in the dead of night over the field with stars shining above.

Get your discounted tickets now for our last two days - we are CLOSING Thursday 7th August at 5pm. Some slots are sold out but we still have availability both days at the time of writing this post!

Lots of flowers available to pick - this gorgeous photo was taken last night by . A reminder to pick flowers that are green and flat in the middle and they will last you longer once home. We also recommend cutting stems long and trimming regularly, and adding a bit of sugar or lemonade to the water. We’ve had some bunches reportedly lasting over two weeks on a vase! And the wildflowers are lasting brilliantly in the field this year - fresh cornflowers, lavetera and zinnia amongst others.

Just a couple of days left to visit us this year! We are now closing Thursday 7th August at 5pm and tickets are available til then.

It’s been a short but very sweet season. Despite the challenges the weather threw our way, we’ve cherished (almost!) every minute of this years bloom. (Moving car park matting in the rain with the flu was not a highlight, but the rest was pretty ace!)

A snippet from a previous Sundowner, last chance this weekend! We’re sold out in the day but we have tickets left for this special evening opening. Join us for glorious blooms, sunset vibes and laid back music. Grab a drink from the bar, food from the van, and finish the week off in style. Children welcome, flower picking available. Sunday evening 6.30 to 8.30pm
