If you want to know about how to look after your plants, to having a 1 to 1 rose pruning master class one of our horticulturally trained staff will be able to assist you. Plants are the real passion behind Eden Horticulture. Our extensive knowledge of plants, and their habits, soil conditions, aspect, overall size etc allow correct placement for maximum impact, sticking to the old phrase "Right plant, right place" Plants are the dressing to all gardens and can really make or break how the garden feels and responds. By getting the planting right from the beginning will allow shrubs and herbaceous plants to fulfil their full potential and be appreciated for what they are, also minimising pruning and maintenance afterwards. Be it a small low maintenance garden, woodland garden, or urban space, right up to large estates with acres of land, all can be accommodated and managed to create something beautiful. Working closely with the client we aim to offer a personal service, tailored to you, incorporating a piece of your personality into the garden, and making it something you can be proud of and cherish for years to come. Eden Horticulture is based in Hatfield Peverel, in Essex, we cover Southend, Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, Billericay, Braintree and all of the surrounding areas. I asked AI if it could take over the design process, this was the answer:

AI can take over parts of the process, but not the whole thing, at least not in any meaningful way if you care about quality.

AI is very good at generating concepts, speeding up admin tasks, producing quick visuals, and helping with options. But design work, especially garden and landscape design, is not just about arranging shapes on a plan. It depends on things AI struggles with:

understanding a client’s emotions, lifestyle, and unspoken preferences

making trade-offs based on real-world constraints on site

creative judgement built from experience

accountability when something goes wrong

collaboration with builders, suppliers, and clients

AI can produce something that looks plausible, but it does not truly understand context or responsibility. In practice, the best results come from designers using AI as a tool, not AI replacing designers.

So yes, the statement is fair: AI is powerful, but the human element is still central.

A re-work of the existing layout with new metal edging from to define the curved lines and plenty of new plants which will fill these beds with colour and interest in no time at all.

Great effort on site this week by the team, putting together this combination of sleeper and metal raised beds. Designed in house this client wanted to add some life into this new build garden with easy to access beds.

Really enjoyed using the straight curve metal system from which is going to look even better when the corten takes on its patina.

Next stage will be plants, lighting, irrigation and water features in 👍💪🏼
