I believe that the first thing about a celebration cake is that it makes a good visual impression, on the recipient, but also on the guests. I have been baking for years for fun, for my own parties, charity events and my childrens' birthdays. Then, last Summer I was just baking too many cakes for us to eat so began to ask friends if they wanted anything for their upcoming children's Birthdays. The

response was eager and grew, often based on the enjoyment of eating the cake. If you aren't going to get round to making the cake for your child's Birthday this year, or if you have some crazy idea but you're not sure how to achieve it, I may be able to help, even at short notice. If you are having a big party for a special Anniversary, Birthday or a Christening I can create a large centrepiece cake to suit your taste and budget or a set of fairy/cup cakes.
