The Collective was first born out of the full band "Jamie Williams & the Roots Collective" and has grown to the Jamie Williams Collective for some of the smaller venues that cannot accommodate the full four piece band. The main members are Jamie Williams, Dave (The Hat) Milligan and Jake (the dude) Milligan & James Bacon. We play a mixture of material some from the bands repertoire and some Jamie'
s solo material not suited to the band, and like the full band they play 95% original material with a couple of choice Jamie-fied covers with our added twist. The show we say has to be fun for us and audience or it is not worth doing. Jamie is a prolific songwriter with around 2,000 songs penned already so there is no shortage of great material to choose from. The band love the diversity of styles in which Jamie writes, which gives them their unique sound. They arrange the songs collectively, which works well as they are a unit and they are all best friends who not only make good music together but also like to hang out and party together.
