🐾 We absolutely LOVE seeing your furry friends in our cafes, they genuinely make our day 🥹🤍

With the sunshine here though, today we saw quite a few dogs out and about in the heat and just wanted to share a little reminder. Around 23°C, especially on pavements, in direct sun, or with little shade, dogs can begin to struggle more than we realise.

Signs heat can affect our pups include:
🐶 Heavy panting
🐶 Excessive drooling
🐶 Tiredness or slowing down
🐶 Red gums
🐶 Struggling to settle or seeming distressed
🐶 In more serious cases, overheating and heatstroke

Please keep your pups hydrated, stick to shaded walks where possible or walk early in the morning or late evening and remember the pavement can feel much hotter than the air temperature ☀️💦
