About us
We have been extremely lucky and lived on this beautiful farm for 31 years. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the North Cotswolds we have tried to maintain and in some cases increase the natural flora and fauna of the area whilst farming cattle and sheep. We are very fortunate to have an abundance of birds including skylark, goldfinch, woodpecker, nut hatch & house sparrow to name a few. We are also seeing an increasing number of hares which we are very pleased about. Moreover just recently signs of the illusive hedgehog have been spotted in the garden.
We love welcoming people to stay in the shepherds hut hoping that they too will enjoy sitting and listening to the dawn chorus and the skylarks singing overhead or spotting Harry Hare as he lollops across the field. There is excellent walking in the area (we are not far from Cotswold Way) , an abundance of mellow stoned Cotswold towns and villages, National Trust properties and gardens to visit and last but not least award winning pubs and restaurants to suit every pocket.
