Hope everyone had a lovely christmas. This year only decorated 2 Christmas cakes. One for my brother who only likes it marzipaned and simply decorations. The second for a family friend. Over the past few years he has had Galapagos islands and santa, North and south poles, Peruvian nativity, Tim peake and santa, ready to take presents to the space station and Paddington bear and the Brown family. Last year was fairly simple being a winter forest theme. This year, inspired by my trip last year, he wanted "Mary and Joseph flight from Egypt". Was happy to oblige and he was so pleased with it when collected.
Must admit I don't miss doing the dozens of cakes like I did in the past. Love being retired but will still do cakes for family and friends 😊🐪🌴
