🍷 Il Borghetto ‘Monty’ 2021
A lively, elegant expression of Tuscan Sangiovese from maverick winemaker Antonio Cavallino. Naturally fermented with native yeasts, taken off the skins early and aged for eight months in concrete, Monty has a beautifully delicate, pale colour more reminiscent of a deep rosé rather than a light red.
Almost orange-wine-like in the glass, it offers lifted aromas of wild strawberry and tangy cranberry, with a subtle savoury edge. And, as one guest pointed out, there’s a dog on the label—so naturally, it’s destined to be a bestseller!
🍷 Viñas del Cenit Field Blend Tradición 2024
A firm favourite with the Tivoli Wines team, this characterful Spanish ‘clarete’ comes from 80–100-year-old vines in the lesser-known Tierra del Vino de Zamora region.
Co-fermented from red and white grapes, it sits deliciously between a pale red and a deep rosé. Serve chilled to enjoy its bright cherry, raspberry and bramble fruit, complemented by a gentle herbal note.
