🎃 A little autumn memory from Wallhope…

We’ve certainly missed our pumpkin patch this year, especially seeing everyone enjoying themselves and making memories on the farm.

It’s been a different sort of autumn at Wallhope, but there are still some lovely things to look forward to!

This Thursday, we’re swapping our wellies for something a little smarter and heading to the British Farming Awards, joining hundreds of fellow farmers for an evening celebrating British farming.

Mrs Wallhope has borrowed a dress from a lovely neighbouring farmer’s wife. Sustainable fashion at its best, with a little help from our farming neighbours! Now we just need to get Mr Wallhope out of his wellies. 😂

We’re also looking forward to hearing Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Choir.

It’ll be lovely to catch up with fellow farmers, enjoy an evening away from the farm and celebrate the people who keep British farming going. ❤️

Thank you 💛

We have never sold so many tubs of Wallhope gelato in one day — and the milk vending machine has been busy too.

Many of you will know Amelie, who walks across the fields to help us at Wallhope and has been quietly helping behind the scenes all summer. This photo was taken last year, but it felt like a lovely one to share today. 🍦

And to all of our Wallhope team, who help keep everything going behind the scenes also — thank you.

To everyone who came up to the farm today, bought gelato or milk, stopped for a chat or simply showed your support, we are so grateful.

We’re a small farm, and days like today really do mean a lot to us. 🥛🐄

A little bit of good news from Wallhope 🤍
Today brought one of those farming moments when so much rests on a few words.
Our TB test results were clear, and after all the worrying and wondering, it was very welcome news.
Meanwhile, life at Wallhope carries on, with fresh batches of gelato being made for our little end of season offer..(limited time only)
3 x 500ml tubs for £18.20. Usually £6.95 each.
Flavours change daily, but current favourites include Vanilla, Mint Choc Chip, Salted Caramel, Raspberry Ripple, Oreo, Peach Ripple, Biscoff and Blackcurrant.
If you’re calling into MOO HQ, we also have fresh Local Yolks eggs, Netherend butter, Wallhope milk and milkshakes.
And if you have a favourite gelato flavour, it’s probably worth picking it up when you see it. 😊🍦🤍

We’ve been a little quiet on social media recently, but life at Wallhope certainly hasn’t been.
The cows are still at the heart of everything we do, and after such a challenging summer, it’s lovely to see them back out on green grass.
Just a quiet evening at Wallhope and a view we never tire of. 🐄🌿

Lovely to see the British Farming Awards Diversification finalists announced.

We’re delighted to be alongside such a fantastic group of farming businesses and wish all our fellow finalists the very best for October.

Farming innovation, Wallhope style… 🚜🌱

Introducing the Wallhope Grass Seeder – Mark 1.

Designed, assembled and very definitely not tested yet!!!! 😂

Built from what we had, where we had it, and with the firm belief that if it works, it’s engineering.

No glossy brochure.
No launch event.
Just a farmyard, a bit of head-scratching and a prototype ready for action.

Mark 2 improvements will be decided after Mark 1 has survived its first field. 😅
