With another warm day forecast, we want to reassure everyone that animal welfare is our number one priority for tomorrow’s sale.
🐄 Extra water points will be available at all cattle, sheep and calf loading bays to help keep livestock cool during loading and unloading.
🐑 Low stocking densities will be maintained in market pens to provide livestock with additional space and maximise airflow throughout the sale.
💧 Free drinking water will be available throughout the market for staff, buyers and sellers – please make use of it and stay hydrated.
👀 Stock will be monitored continuously by our experienced team, who will be on hand throughout the sale and ready to implement any additional welfare measures should they be required.
🚛 We encourage vendors, hauliers and purchasers to plan journeys carefully, minimise waiting times where possible and work with our team to ensure livestock move efficiently through the market.
