Not your general public. ❌

We work with runners and athletes who already train hard and eat “well”... but something still isn’t clicking.

For example:
• But, I’m tired in my sessions 😴
• But, my performance has plateaued 📉
• But, I’m not recovering 🔋
• But, I’ve got no energy left at the end of the day for my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
• But, my body composition just won’t change ⚖️
These are all symptoms that can be fixed through the Performance Accelerator Programme. 🚀

In order of appearance...

🏃‍♂️ David
David wanted running to feel easier as his long runs increased in distance while training for a marathon. He was pushing himself through these runs and feeling exhausted all weekend as a result.
Now he’s enjoying the running, has energy left to spend time with family afterwards, and the 20-minute marathon PB was pretty nice too.

🏃‍♀️ Michelle
Michelle wanted to learn how to fuel her body. Inconsistent energy levels were affecting her busy job and social life.
By developing simple habits built on good nutrition knowledge, she now has consistent energy and more structure around her nutrition.

🚴 Jamie
Running a business, being a dad and training for triathlons is a full-time hustle, and Jamie was pushing through despite getting progressively more tired.
We worked nutrition around Jamie’s busy life to improve diet quality and energy levels so he could perform at his best at work, with family and in training.

⛰️ Lin
Lin was nervous her eating habits wouldn’t support her new ultra-running goals because the more she ran, the more tired she felt.
By practising sports nutrition principles and turning them into automatic habits, Lin now has great energy on every run, whatever the distance.

🏃 Kieron
Kieron had always struggled with recovery and felt his body would never let him train as much as he wanted to.
By nailing the basics, getting them consistent, and then layering in personalised strategies, we got Kieron bouncing back from every session.
His goals have now progressed from a half marathon to a full marathon.

Sometimes it’s a smart move to reduce fibre, especially if this is happening all too frequently.

Some context - I’m not saying stop eating vegetables, I am saying, if this is happening, then consider reducing intake of fibrous foods in the 24 hours prior to that session.

The enjoy the session without the trio to the toilet, and build on those extra 🥦🥕🌽 on your rest day.

Ever heard of Topo? 👟

47 days to go to Lakeland 100.

First run in the Topo Athletic Ultraventure 4, after from runners retreat aughestes them to me, (while we were buying Verity some shoes), and I’m so sold on them.

I would never have even thought of this brand, but having super wide feet, they are a godsend!

The plan is to not put too much mileage into them before the race.

With the idea of having the foam stil pretty fresh for the race.

Even if this is just a psychological thing, feeling like I’ve got a bit more bounce on race day - I’ll take it.

So after booking Veriry a marathon, when she was a complete non runner, I’ve committed to getting out and doing some runs with her.

These have been run/walks for both of us as V works out what zone 2 really is, and I work out at what pace I need to break into a run.

In all seriousness it has been great.

The voices in Vs head have been saying things like James won’t enjoy this, as he isn’t getting a “proper” run in.

But that’s not the point of me joining her, it’s to keep her company, keep her conversational, and enjoy being outside together. (Even when it’s hot).

Hey, I even got a “that wasn’t completely 💩” from V last week, so we are making progress.
