🚜🌾 Event wrap-up for Farmscan AG!

It was great to be at the Cereals Event this week with Callum Chalmers and Martin Abell. The rain came along for the ride, but so did plenty of good conversations with OEMs, manufacturers, dealers and project partners.

The SLIMERS tractor and sprayer were on display at the BOFIN stand, showcasing a project Farmscan AG has been proud to support as automation partner. Our team has played a central role in helping turn slug detection data into accurate and reliable in-field treatment. 🐌

🌱 The system connects sensing, mapping and machine control to apply treatment only where slug pressure is identified. This supports a more targeted approach to slug management, helping reduce unnecessary product use while improving application accuracy.

Visitors also had the chance to see the sprayer up close and ask questions about the autonomous spot-spraying system.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to catch up and chat about machinery control, ISOBUS, autonomy and OEM support.

🐌 What happens when slug control becomes more targeted?

Our latest blog looks at the SLIMERS project and how Farmscan AG is working to turn slug detection data into accurate in-field treatment.

By connecting sensing, decision-making and machine control, Farmscan AG is helping enable autonomous spot spraying so product can be applied only where it is needed. This supports more targeted slug control, reduced chemical use, improved input efficiency and a lower overall chemical load.
