🚜 Carry out workshop, on-farm and breakdown repairs

CMP ventilation fans, all systems go! 💨

It’s been go, go, go recently with CMP ventilation fan installations! Here’s another system we’ve recently completed, helping to create a cooler, better-ventilated environment for livestock.

And it’s not just cattle we’ve been keeping cool! Over the years, we’ve installed CMP ventilation systems across a range of livestock environments, including cattle, sheep, goats and horses.

Good ventilation plays an important role in animal health, comfort and productivity, particularly when temperatures start to rise.

A few stats that show just how important managing heat stress can be 👇

🌡️ Dairy cows can begin to experience the negative effects of heat stress at a THI of just 68–70, with this dropping to around 65 for the highest-producing cows.

🌾 In cattle, heat stress can cause feed intake to fall by 15–20%, while energy requirements can increase by 20–30% as the animal works to maintain its body temperature.

💨 Effective ventilation helps regulate temperature, humidity and air quality, while reducing the build-up of harmful gases such as ammonia.

From dairy units and cattle sheds to sheep, goat and equine facilities, the right ventilation system can make a real difference to animal comfort and welfare.

Last week we were at the Flint & Denbigh Show 🌾

It was great to be back, catching up with customers and suppliers, as well as seeing plenty of familiar faces and meeting some new ones throughout the day.

We had a great mix of machinery and equipment on the stand, from slurry equipment and wheel loaders to attachments, bedding equipment and more.
