The results are in. Six awards including two golds, a category champion and a first runner up of the overall competition. With a 21 year old b**r and a 2 month old b**r both bringing it home.

❤️ THANK YOU! ❤️

What an incredible day!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Charity B**r Fest. Whether you enjoyed a pint, listened to the live music, tucked into some great food or simply came along to support the event, you helped make the day one to remember.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we raised £1,250 for EACH of our chosen charities – The Joshua Tree and Hospice of the Good Shepherd – an amazing £2,500 in total!

The generosity didn’t stop there. Thanks to additional donations and pledges made on the day, we raised a further £945.44, bringing our overall total to an incredible £3,445.44! ❤️

Events like this simply wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing Spitting Feathers team. Every member of staff and every volunteer worked tirelessly to organise the event, set everything up, pour pints, cook food and keep the day running smoothly from start to finish. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything you did.

Finally, thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and supported us. Seeing so many people come together to enjoy great b**r while raising money for two incredible local charities is exactly what this event is all about.

'VAT'S THE PROBLEM' - It's time to put our serious faces on for our new 4.2% Blonde ale, made with 100% British ingredients from farm to glass. We're supporting in their campaign for change. Supporting British farmers, British Brewers and British Hospitality as they simultaneously reach perhaps their biggest crisis to date. Simply put we need tax slashed by half if we are all to survive together. A low ABV b**r for an infinitely good cause.

Because in the words of Winston Churchill; "For a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle."

All of us at SFHQ would like to express our thanks to every person involved in making Spitting Feathers b**r festival 2026 such a special day from beginning to end. From the staff who started work months in advance, to the volunteers on the bar, the kitchen and the gates, without whom it simply wouldn't be possible to pull off. To every ticket holder who chose to spend their time and hard-earned partying for a good cause. 2026 marked the 20th year since we began our annual festival and it was the first time since 2021 that the weather has allowed it to take place in the yard and garden again, basking in the sunshine like the good old days. Work never stops here at SFHQ and today we're straight back to brewing whilst restoring Common Farm back to it's daily operations, and if you can believe it, we even have a new b**r to release tomorrow. For now, bear with us while we count up how much you raised for our chosen charities (once we get a chance to sit down) and once again, thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️
