Watson and Brown Watson and Brown is Chesterfield's premier high class butchers, bakers, caterers and sandwich shop.

Watson & Brown was established in 1960 by Stan & Curly Watson and John Brown (Curly's brother-in-law) and although it was small at the time, employing only 4 members of staff, it's reputation for selling delicious home baked breads and pastries along with the finest cuts of beef, pork and lamb saw the business soon grow and the introduction of it's now famous pork pies took that growth even furthe

r. In the early 1970's Stan & Curly bought out John but kept the Watson & Brown name and their youngest son Peter came on board followed by their eldest son Richard, and in the mid 90's the brothers took over ownership of the company. Since then the business, premises and workforce have expanded allowing us to offer a fantastic selection of world cheeses, delicious hot and cold sandwiches and a full bespoke outside catering service which has proved extremely successful. Today the company continues to grow and whilst we always look for new ideas and services, we try to stay true to our original roots and offer the people of Chesterfield and surrounding areas the excellent products and service they have come to expect for over 55 years.
