It's been a very global few weeks in The Snug Kitchen!
A huge charity quiz night for Glanvilles, with 6 rounds, and 6 small plate dishes each 20 minutes apart; feeding 96 people and Glanvilles support staff. We love a challenge and that was pressure but fun!
The Mediterranean theme continued yesterday with a colourful mezze buffet for Lynne's retirement party.
Lemon and herb chicken, lamb kebabs infused with fresh rosemary, roasted Mediterranean vegetable pasta, smoked paprika, garlic and herb roasties, greek salad, Caprese salad, roasted peppers and sun-dried tomatoes, and some delicious olive breads, and hot honey flatbread. The dessert request was a very British Eton mess, balanced with cheesecake with a Sicilian lemon coulis.
