Why have one passage door when you can have two?
This double passage door design was the quiet hero of this barn conversion – and one of them leads to a secret pantry.
With a unique linear floor plan, this project was designed with the kitchen located centrally in the space that was also a walk through between living areas.
The seemingly modest, L shaped kitchen concealed one passage door leading to a secret pantry, with the other opening a clear path to a compact boot room and utility, leading the way to the other end of the barn.
It’s design details like this that truly maximised both the function of this multi-use space and the beautiful, tactile finishes that created a kitchen that feels right at home.
What secret space would you hide behind your passage door? Pantry, boot-room, utility – or something else entirely!
