Just a friendly reminder that every Tuesday and Wednesdays (Wednesdays for now)you can now find us at our brand new layby in Funtington!

We are on the B2146, Common Road — on the right hand side just before you reach Funtington Village — from 7am to 2pm! ☀️🍔
Come and find us for all your usual Sizzling Herd favourites — fresh, locally sourced, proper food made with love! 💙

2nd day of the weekend at Parwood Equestrian Centre, in the beautiful sunshine! 🌞

What a week it has been! 🔧

This week threw us a curveball — gas problems with the trailer (not Syd, just to be clear!) 😂 But a huge shoutout to my Brother, Dad and Glen who rallied round and got us sorted, while I sat and relaxed behind the wheel of the Fastrac 🚜Dad had to test the gas out post fix and by all accounts cooked a mean breakfast for the workers! We are so lucky to have such brilliant support around us!

And today? Today everyone had that Friday feeling and the layby was absolutely buzzing — what an incredible end to a challenging week! 😊🔥

This Weekend — Parwood Equestrian Centre
We are spending the weekend at the wonderful Parwood for British Showjumping! The weather is looking HOT — but don't worry, we will have plenty of ice cold smoothies ready alongside our usual full menu!

We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to announce that The Sizzling Herd is now sponsoring amateur British showjumper Brook Williams — who also happens to be Syd's very own son!

And what a way to start our partnership! 🎉
In only their second outing together, Brook and his magnificent AES horse Veroveraar delivered a stunning double clear in a hugely competitive 1m class — and this proud Mum could not be more emotional or more excited!

This is just the beginning for this brilliant duo and we cannot wait to follow their journey together! 🌟

🍔🌦️ What an absolutely incredible weekend! 🌦️🍔

🐴 Saturday — Sparright Equestrian , Eventers Challenge
Well, British summertime truly showed up yesterday! ☀️🌧️❄️🌈 We had all four seasons in one day — sunshine, wind, rain and everything in between! 😂
The smoothie maker sat quietly in the corner wondering what had happened to summer — while the hot chocolates absolutely flew out!😄
What a brilliant event though — the riders were incredible and it was an absolute pleasure to be there! 💙🐴

🌱 Sunday — Open Farm Sunday at Farplants, Walberton Nursery
What a wonderful day supporting the incredible Sage House dementia charity! 💙
Today it was all about our steak burgers, slow cooked BBQ pulled pork and our special — The Herd's Bombay Dirty Fries! 🍛🍟🧀 What an absolute hit! 🔥
Such a brilliant event for such a worthy cause — we were so proud to be part of it! 💙🌱

Meet two of the most loaded fries you have ever seen — custom built by two of Syd's brilliant regulars! These two hardworking lads spend their days out in all weathers looking after game, so when they come to The Sizzling Herd, only proper filling food will do — and that is exactly what they got! 😄💙

Syd and Luke are so pleased to be catering at Walberton Nursery, Walberton, BN18 0NS in aid of the wonderful dementia charity Sage House Tangmere and Perennial - Gardeners'​ Royal Benevolent Society — come and join us for what promises to be a brilliant day for everyone and it's free entry and parking!

🐴 Tuesday — Cowdray Hunt Pony Club Show Jumping
Syd & Paige survived 35 degree heat in the food trailer and absolutely loved every second of it! 🌡️😂 What a fantastic event and what wonderful people — thank you so much to everyone who visited us! 💙

🍔 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday — Back in the Layby!
What a joy it has been to be back serving our wonderful regulars and some brilliant new faces this week! Today in particular was absolutely buzzing — Syd had the best fun feeding everyone and the atmosphere was just brilliant! 😊❤️ This is exactly why she does what she does 💙

Just look at that sunrise this morning at 6.15am — absolutely stunning! This is why we do what we do! ☀️💙 West Sussex at its finest!

The creativity has been flowing and your custom creations have been truly incredible — this is exactly what The Sizzling Herd is all about! You bring the imagination, we bring the food! 😊❤️
