💔 A Sad Reminder About Responsible Animal Rehoming 💔

Today, an unknown person left a peacock at our site without any contact, information, or prior arrangement. Sadly, before we were even aware of the situation, the peacock escaped onto the road and was struck by a vehicle, resulting in its death.

This is a heartbreaking outcome that could have been avoided.

We understand that circumstances sometimes mean people need to find new homes for animals, and whenever possible we are happy to help or offer advice. If we are unable to assist directly, we will do our best to point you towards an organisation or individual who can.

However, please do not leave animals at our site without contacting us first. Dumping animals puts them at serious risk and prevents us from providing the care and safety they deserve.

If you need help rehoming an animal, please get in touch with us. Together we can find a safe and responsible solution.

Our summer term runs from 8 June to 8 July 2026, with creative, nature-focused sessions for home educated children aged 4–16.

New this term: Teen Outdoor Learning Club for ages 12–16.
