What a day 🥂

Yesterday we had the joy of celebrating David’s 90th birthday in Barford St. John, and it was one to remember. Fizz and canapés to start, followed by a full spread of homemade favourites: beef fillet, dressed salmon, coronation chicken, and all the trimmings, finished with lemon tart, chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream.

Every single dish made by hand by our incredible team, who set up and served the whole day without missing a beat. Watching it all come together for David and his family was such a privilege.

Happy 90th, David. Here’s to many more.

Pink Salt Shed summer party at the boss’s house! A time for us to all get together to be sociable not just working, although we’re super sociable at work anyway!! We had peach & burrata salad with prosciutto, wild rocket, toasted pine nuts & balsamic glaze, slow cooked pulled lamb with homemade flatbreads, Asian slaw and buttery new potatoes. Cheeses and our delicious caramelised onion chutney. Hardly got any pics of the food as were too busy eating and drinking (and watching the football!

It’s important to get the team together to celebrate our successes and work on the next lot of plans. We’re growing because of the effort everyone puts in and it doesn’t go unrecognised… we’re are an amazing team and Pink Salt Shed wouldn’t be as amazing as it is without them! Celebrate each other too 🩷
