Churchstoke Country Park

Churchstoke Country Park Churchstoke Country Park, located on the Anglo-Welsh border in the small village of Churchstoke. If you have not visited, it is a must!

The country park is completely free to enter and provides a wonderful day out for all the family. Parking is free and entry is also free so no need to worry about bringing any money with you (unless you wish to visit the supermarket or its cafe, in front of the park). The surrounding environment is beautiful with nothing but the welsh (and some english) hills as far as the eye can see. The animals

aren't too bad either; cows, sheep and all the other similar friendly farm animals that you can think of. As well as the normal sort of animals you may find on a farm, it also has more exclusive residence such as the llama's, donkey's, alpacas, red deer, water buffalo, horses, highland cattle and the local peacock that occasionally shows off its feathers. If you kids aren't big fans of animals though; don't worry, there is also a big kids and little kids area for the you to mess around on. theres always a chance of running into Roy (the owner of the park) on his daily rounds around the par, checking on the animals, and may be able to get closer to animals that you may not have been as close to before. A cheap day for all you city dwellers to enjoy the true countryside! and the wildlife within it!
