Well, that’s some proper good news to share! 🏆🐄

We are over the moon to be named Dairy Producer of the Year at the My Local Awards West Midlands 2026!

As an independent family farm here in South Shropshire, we don’t do what we do for the awards—we do it because we care deeply about our free-range cows, our Shropshire pastures, and bringing honest, fresh milk straight to our community.

That said, being recognised across the West Midlands means the absolute world to the two of us.

A massive thank you to everyone who voted for us, to all of you who faithfully return your empty glass bottles week after week, and to our brilliant local shops, cafes, and kitchens who proudly stock and serve our milk. Every single bottle swapped and refilled supports local, high-welfare farming and helps cut down on single-use plastic.

We’ll definitely be giving the girls in the background an extra scratch behind the ears today—after all, they’re the ones who make it taste proper good! 🥛🌾

The mornings might be turning cooler here in South Shropshire, but the herd are still making the most of grazing out on the pastures—just popping in for milking before heading straight back out.

Making the most of every last blade of autumn grass! 👅🌿

Despite this morning's rain, our girls are still out enjoying lush South Shropshire pastures, doing what they do best. Grazing on clover and grass is what gives our unhomogenised whole milk its rich flavour and that proper golden cream line at the top of the bottle.

As the autumn air cools, we keep them out on the fields for as long as the ground conditions allow before they head inside for winter. Judging by this happy face, they are in the right place!
