Hannah-Mae Samson is a beast and I am overwhelmed at her determination and dedication to this challenge. It was a pleasure to run with her this morning, only one loop. (That was enough)
The reason Hannah took on this little challenge is because Hannah-Mae is raising funds for 2 charities.
• Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Charity
• Sandy Bear Children’s Bereavement Charity
Hannah has chosen B*H as one of the charities because of what they have done to help our family. Efa was born with Sagittal Craniosynostosis, something we only found out when she was 9 months old, despite the concerns being there from day 1. There were a lot of emotions along the way, not knowing what this meant, how her future would look, did she need surgery etc. in Oct 2025, Efa underwent major surgery for the surgeons to remodel her skull. Fast forward to now, Efa is 21 months old and thriving. B*H have given her such a brighter future, and we will forever be grateful of the care they provided to our daughter.
For Hannah to take on this huge challenge and raise money for the amazing hospital, means the entire world to us all as a family, and that is why I took on my own challenge alongside Hannah’s, as I didn’t know how else to show her how grateful we truly are.
Hannah is taking on the longest single event triathlon (female);
11km swim 🏊♀️
322km cycle 🚴🏼♀️
80km run 🏃🏽♀️➡️
There will also be an auction after the event at the Mason Arms, Cilgerran, at 7pm on the 13th June. Everybody’s welcome!
Good luck Hannah! You’ll smash it 👊🏼
Donation bucket in the shop too.
