Ewes, lambs and shearlings looking well in the evening sun today.

Looking forward to the year ahead with these new arrivals, and also excited to announce that I will have shearling breeding stock available from the summer, so stay put!

Ewe lambs have been split off from the rest of the lambs to sit out the winter together. They are growing beautifully and they look great in a bunch together!

As for the rams, it was holiday over on Friday! Out they went with the ewes, Gunner and his stunning son Armada. Being quite so handsome, and one of my first pedigree homebreds, I’ve decided to run Armada with a few of the ewes in order to (hopefully!) get some stock out of him at the next lambing.

Growing the flock with some new blood!

Last weekend I bought a flock of lovely ewes, lambs and rams from a genuine dispersal. Some lovely looking sheep and great to expand on the bloodlines on farm. Genetic variety is key to healthy breeding and we are now up to 7 different lines on farm in what is still a relatively small flock.

Look forward to breeding these this autumn and I'm pleased to say that some breeding stock is now available so please do get in touch!
