Wowzers ! No posts since April’s Iceland update ! Just for the record, I wasn’t on a social media detox, just never sat down and documented anything in the ‘virtual’ world ! After 6 months of baking apprenticeship, Small & Round has taken a gelato direction, something I’ve always loved eating and now, after a brilliant course .official something I love making too ! Recipe testing currently - who knows where this project may lead, but I’m looking forwards to finding out. Just to clarify, I’m still baking too ! Managed to spend some amazing family time between Portugal, New York, Scotland and Sicily too which was awesome ! I’ll eventually get round to posting some photos. My sourdough game has stepped up too - the best loaves yet this week - patience is the only way with that one ! More theatre shows too and was lucky enough to be part of a stage management course last month - such a fun way to spend a week - plus managed to discover some great new spots in London too. Finally visited Paris too thanks to Eurostar snap and social hub for making it kinder on my wallet 😂 ! Diabetes still been much keeping me on my toes with its habit of being rather changeable but I’m seizing the days as much as I can and trying not to let it takeover. Anyway, that’s a little summary of my last few months. And if I need any help with gelato taste testing, I’ll reach out. More photos on all of this (& more) coming soon on here and maybe on the website too if I get on it !… 😂😂😂 In the meantime, here’s a selection of just a few of the many bakes from the past 6 months - mostly sourdough - ha !
