The shop has been an established as a butcher’s for over 50 years. Our aim to is provide locally sourced quality meats at affordable prices. We have become very famous for our meat packs in recent years ranging from Family Meat Packs, BBQ Packs and Our Christmas Hampers. We now offer a Free home delivery service which is available within Clacton on Sea, Harwich, Colchester, Ipswich & surrounding a

The question today are we going to reopen,
Our answer Yes we absolutely are reopening, we looked at when is the best time to do this and the answer was there isn’t really a best time so we just have to bite the bullet and do the refurbishment we have been planning for months, some things won’t be introduced straight away but I have been to shows, met companies that are supplying new equipment, we are 99% organised, we aim to keep the website open and you can call the shop for collections or deliveries but the front of the shop will be empty from Monday morning. you can place orders on the website or call us on 01255 424277, we will do our best but cant promise everything will be available.

Don’t forget we are closing after this coming week for refurbishment.

We want to thank you for all the amazing messages in the last day, bad reviews can be damaging and we will always do everything we can to put things right if you contact us first, unfortunately the last negative one was out of our control we didn’t receive an email before they left it, we spoke via email after I challenged the negative review which I don’t think they were expecting and they ‘assumed’ very wrong. We move on to be told I’m arrogant and a nothing tells me they know nothing about me and I’m glad they will never be a customer and we never have to speak to them again
We do however have some exciting news to bring you, it’s been months in the planning and the dates are set we are closing for a week for a refit.
Our last day will be Saturday 20th June and we will reopen Monday 29th June.
We will be keeping the website and phone lines open during this week for deliveries and collections but the shop won’t be open.
We will also be closed on Monday 8th June as we are having new doors fitted and the fitters will need space to work.
We will bring more details soon.
