A small update from our previous post. We are now accepting Evri parcels again.

Due to a high volume of Evri parcels. We are unable to accept any more until the driver picks them up.

We are unsure why we haven’t had a pickup yet but we cannot accept any more at this time.

Quick announcement for our early bird customers.
Starting from tomorrow, The Post Office will be opening at 6:30AM instead of 6:00AM.

The Shop still opens at 6AM,
Sundays are unaffected and the Shop and Post Office will be open at 7AM as usual

Hello everyone, We've recently seen a lot of discourse online about the shop. We’ve been listening to your feedback, and we’re making a change today.

Recently, some of you shared that having your cash counted by a machine out of sight didn't feel quite right for a lot of you

Effective immediately, we will be counting all cash by hand, right in front of you. I will personally be moving the note counter to the back office.

Things are a little heated at the moment, so we're disabling comments for this post now. if you have any questions, queries or quibbles. feel free to chat to us in store.

Post Office Reopened!

We are pleased to inform you that the mechanical issue with the safe has been resolved, and Post Office operations have now resumed. We are fully open again.

⚠️ Post Office Notice ⚠️

​The Post Office is temporarily closed today due to a mechanical issue with the safe. We are working to resolve it, but we do not currently have a confirmed reopening time.

​I am starting my shift at 3:00 PM. If you have any questions or wish to discuss the closure, please wait and speak to me directly.

​This is a technical breakdown outside of the new owners' control. Please treat our staff and owners with respect—rudeness will not be tolerated.

Lost Item Found

A black and white clutch bag has been found outside the shop last night. It was left on top of the postbox outside the shop and has since been brought inside for safekeeping.

Black top section with gold text reads: “All great things begin with a vision and a dream”

If this is yours, please visit the shop to collect it or contact us to arrange retrieval.

Hi everyone, just a heads-up that we’ll be closing at 10pm instead of 9pm starting on Saturday 9th May. For two weeks. Depending on how it goes. We may keep these hours. If we do It might take a bit to get all our signs and online info updated.

Good news is that our opening times will stay the same! We’ll still be open bright and early at 6am every morning and 7am on Sundays. We’re just adding an extra hour to our evening hours.

Edit: The post office will still close at 9pm due to safety reasons until we can get confirmation and permission from the post office to open later.
