It's a fantastic experience with authentic food and drink from 16 countries, live cooking demonstrations, farmers' market on Angel Hill and family entertainment, games, children's magic workshops, face painting, balloon modelling..... lots to do basically!!! And what's more... IT'S FREE!!! 😁

It's the last Bank Holiday Monday of the summer this weekend. Don't be sad, we will be open our usual weekend hours plus Monday from 12-4pm serving up our range of tasty ales.

We’ll be joined by Ned Palmer, Sunday Times bestselling author and renowned cheesemonger, for a guided tasting exploring the wonderful combinations of beer, cheese, bread and charcuterie.

🍺 The brewers from Roughacre Brewery will be there to talk about their beers, and how they are made

Happy national relaxation day ! The perfect excuse to take it easy and enjoy the countryside... perhaps with a pint or two relaxing outside at the taproom? Just a suggestion... 😎

On Sunday 23rd August we have our next Build-A-Beer Workshop and we still have a few places left... it runs from 1 to 3pm and includes a brewery tour, hosted beer tasting, grazing plates and your chance to design and name your very own beer!

The winning team (or individual) will have their beer concept brewed by us then - a few weeks later - everyone who took part gets a complimentary bottle of the finished product... all for £15 per person! We're open for drinks, snacks and roasted potato feasts from 12-9pm today and 12-6pm tomorrow.

It looks like the weather will be lovely and sunny this weekend and also not as bonkers crazy hot as it has been for the past few weeks! 🥵 ...so why not head on up the hill and enjoy a refreshing pint or glass of vino in the sunshine at the bar with the best possible views of the Stour valley!?

Calling all thirsty and friends... we have a couple of new ones on this sunny weekend to tantalise those taste buds!

VAMPIRE - Cherry Saison Sour (4.4% ABV) - a blood red saison sour brewed with pilsner malt, Czech hops and double fermented with fresh cherry juice. We use Belgian saison yeast and wild yeast strains to deliver a refreshing bite with tart, mouthwatering flavours.

BUNNY HOP - Mandarina Pale Ale (3.4% ABV) - a refreshing and thirst-quenching session pale ale brewed with Aussie Summer and Bavarian Mandarina hops for a wonderful orange citrus hit and a distinct aroma of tangerine and lime.

Also fresh on tap this weekend...

To all our customers and who turned up yesterday evening, please accept our sincerest apologies for the early closing of the tap room and café. We had a staff shortage due to illness and it wasn't possible to continue to stay open for the evening session. So sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this caused.

However, we're very pleased to say that we will be resuming operations as normal today and opening from midday to 6pm! We'll have a fine selection of ales on including...
