FRIDAY’S CHUNKIES BOXES. 🤎

There’s something about seeing all the boxes together before they leave the kitchen that makes the whole week feel real.

All the baking, cutting, packing and little jobs that go into getting everything ready… and then suddenly it’s collection day and it’s time for them to go to their new homes.

Yesterday was Week 18 collection, and we finally got to see all that work come together.

Meanwhile, Week 19 is already underway. Because apparently we don’t know how to sit still for very long.

The new menu is live, and orders are open until Tuesday at 8PM.

After winning a tight game 2-1 with Theddo Reserves last week, our attention turns to Louth FC Reserves tomorrow.

They currently sit 2nd in the league while we sit in 1st place, they’re a side who seem to have improved immensely since last season so it’s sure to be a tough test.

The lads have played 5 so far this season, being on unbeaten run as it stands and have they no plans of stopping now‼️

WEEK 19 IS HERE. 👀

Another Friday, another six flavours joining the Chunkies menu.

And now comes the difficult part… deciding what you’re having.

You could play it safe with your usual favourite. You could try something completely different. Or you could get the full box and avoid making the decision altogether.

Honestly, we support all three approaches.

Week 19 orders are officially OPEN.

And there’s more than one way to get involved:

The orders might be closed, but the work definitely isn’t👀

This is probably the bit people don’t really see when they order a box of Chunkies.

Once Tuesday night hits and the orders close, that’s when we actually get to work.

Trays get baked fresh.
Everything gets cooled, cut and checked.
Then comes the packing.

And suddenly all those orders that were just names on a screen start turning into actual boxes sitting on the packing table.

By Friday, our local collection orders will be ready to go, while our postal orders are getting their final checks before heading out to their new homes.

Most postal orders go out Thursday to arrive Friday, although depending on the week some will head out Friday to arrive Saturday.

It’s one of my favourite parts of the whole process because you get to see what all the chaos from the last few days was actually for.

And then somehow… we do it all over again for the next menu.

That’s Chunkies, I suppose. 🤎

We’re officially at the point where “I’ll order later” is becoming a dangerous strategy.

Because later = tonight.

Week 18 orders close at 8PM🕰️

After that, this week’s menu is gone and we get to start making the next one.

So if you’ve been looking at the menu thinking:
I’ll decide later.
I’ll order when I get paid.
I’ll come back to it.

I know exactly what I want, I just haven’t ordered it yet.

There’s a very specific point when you realise you should probably stop eating the brownie…🥲

It’s when you’ve already had enough.
You know you’ve had enough.
Your stomach definitely knows you’ve had enough.

But there’s still that little corner left.
And somehow that little corner becomes:

“Well… I may as well finish it.”

And THAT is exactly why we like Chunkies brownies to be the kind you can actually finish!

Not a massive slab that looks impressive for five minutes and then sits in the fridge because you’ve had three bites and need a lie down.

Just a proper brownie.

Fudgy. Chocolatey. Chunky enough to feel like you’ve got your money’s worth.

The dangerous bit is that you can actually finish one.
And then suddenly you’re looking at the box thinking…

“Well there’s six, isn’t there?” 👀
