We hopped on the Bewdley Express to catch up with a few customers and talk all things Prince of Darkness Stout.

What a brilliant service this is for connecting Bewdley to Kidderminster and Birmingham and, importantly, it means we can leave the car at home when there might be a little product sampling involved 👀🍺

A cracking idea and one we’d love to see continue.

We’ve just installed at Kennedy’s in Moseley!

Pale and Town Crier are now pouring on the handpulls, bringing real ale to a pub that previously didn’t have any!

It’s a cracking pub too. From breakfast through to dinner, they’ve got you covered with proper pub grub, plenty of entertainment and now two great Hobsons b**rs at the bar.

If you’re in Moseley, pop in and give them a try. 🍻

We don’t usually open the Taproom without a Foodie Friday.

But we’re supporting SIBA’s campaign and taking 50p off every pint this Friday.

🍺 Cask pints – £3.50
🍺 Keg pints – £4.50

Why? B**r duty in the UK is around 10 times higher than in Germany, and the campaign is calling for a fairer tax system for pubs and independent breweries.

Grab a couple of relaxed (Cheap) pints with us, then head into town and support some of our brilliant local pubs.

Foodie Fridays 2026, over and out! 🍻

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us at the brewery this year. To all the brilliant food traders and musicians who came along, and of course everyone who turned up for a pint, some food and a good time, cheers!

Foodie Fridays will be back in 2027, with more great traders, musicians and plenty of Hobsons flowing.

But we’re not quite done with 2026 yet…

Stay tuned for something happening on 9th October, and then, of course, there’s the Hobsons Christmas Party to look forward to!

You asked for it back, and we didn’t want to disappoint… so we brewed more this year. Dunkel returns for October!

This German-inspired fest b**r offers layers of malty goodness, brewed with Munich, Vienna and Cara Munich malts alongside two classic German hops, Tettnang and MittelfrĂĽh.

Chestnut brown, smooth and malty, with gentle caramel and a clean, crisp finish.

Keep an eye out for Dunkel hitting the handpulls in time for Oktoberfest. Prost! 🍻
