🐑🍂 Where has the year gone?

It doesn’t seem two minutes ago that we were in the depths of lambing time, welcoming new life into the world and enjoying those first signs of spring. Now, after an amazing summer that seems to have flown by, we’re hurtling towards winter! 🍁

The clocks go back on Sunday 25th October, the evenings will draw in, and before we know it, we’ll be reaching for the extra blankets and lighting the fire🔥… we may of already been doing that last bit already!

There’s something quite special about this time of year, though. Cosy evenings, crisp mornings and getting ready for the animals being in more. ❤️ 🐴

Who else loves the clocks going back and having an excuse to cosy up in front of the fire? Or are you already counting down the days until spring? 😂👇

🐐🩷 IT’S BEEN A WHILE… BUT OUR ADORABLE TRIO ARE BACK! 🐴

It’s been a little while since we’ve shared anything from Betty, Mable and little Tommy and honestly, we think this video was worth the wait! 😂

Our two cheeky Pygmy goats, Betty & Mable, are always up to something… but it seems little Tommy the Shetland pony has decided that today he’s NOT putting up with any nonsense! 😆

Well, Felix hasn’t made much of an appearance on here lately… but don’t be fooled! 🦙😂

He’s certainly not taking a back seat and is always up to something behind the scenes.

It seems Felix has decided that simply going on an alpaca walk isn’t quite enough anymore… oh no, he wants to get in on the cream tea action too! ☕️🧁

Because why should the humans have all the fun? 😂

Honestly, this boy never fails to keep us on our toes. 💙🦙

We’ve a feeling Felix may be joining us for a few more cream teas yet! 😉

Their day was absolutely stunning, and just look at the children with our alpacas! 🦙🥰 It’s moments like these that remind us just how much we love what we do and we’re pretty sure our alpacas love it just as much!

It was such a pleasure to be part of your special day, Daniel and Johnny. Thank you for having us and for letting our alpacas share in such a wonderful celebration.

🦙 Three new additions to the herd! 🦙

On the 4th January, we welcomed three gorgeous crias, Ollie, Truffle and Bluey, and what a little trio they are!

These three are almost inseparable. Whether they’re chasing each other around the field, having a little bit of playful neck wrestling, exploring together or snuggling up for a nap, they love being in each other’s company.

At this age, it’s all about friendship, curiosity and gentle play. They follow each other everywhere, learn together and are always keeping an eye on one another. ❤️

We just love watching their little personalities develop and seeing the special bond they share.

Ollie, Truffle and Bluey, you really are the sweetest little trio! 🦙💕

There’s a lot of work that goes into keeping our alpacas looking tip top! 🦙✂️

Fudge here decided he was in need of a little fringe trim, so naturally, the groomer was Alison, who seems to add yet another job title to her ever growing list! 😂

With a little snip here and a little snip there, Fudge was soon looking rather dapper.

I think Alison has just the words for Fudge… “Perfect!” And who are we to argue? 😉

☀️ Oh, how we’re missing those summer days! 🦙

Looking back, those long, sunny days seem a lifetime ago now. Funny how quickly the weather changes, and this morning was certainly a bit of a shock to the system! 🥶🍂

Thankfully, alpaca walking and meeting our lovely animals can happen come rain or shine, and we certainly know how to make the most of it!

So, who fancies a crisp, autumnal walk with our gorgeous alpacas? 🍁🦙
