The price for a "casual" stall is being cut in half for a three-month trial period to encourage more traders to get involved and boost the buzz around the historic market.

The 50% discount will run through March, April and May, giving new and existing traders the chance to rent a stall for as little as £5 a day.

Whether you’re a small business, a start‑up, or someone hoping to turn a hobby into extra income, Clitheroe Market could be the perfect place to grow.

🎉 ‘Phenomenal’ Food Festival Smashes Visitor Numbers Again! 🎉

Over 25,000 food enthusiasts converged on Clitheroe on Saturday for the town’s annual food festival.

Ricky Newmark, chairman of Ribble Valley Borough Council’s economic development committee, said: “This year’s Clitheroe Food Festival again attracted around 25,000 food enthusiasts, which is a phenomenal achievement.

“Festivalgoers from across the region enjoyed top-quality artisan produce, a feast of family entertainment and a warm Ribble Valley welcome.

“We are proud to have created what has become one of the UK’s premiere food festivals and are already receiving expressions of interest for next year’s event.”
