‼️Looking for Summer/Festival Staff‼️

Hello! We are looking for reliable, trustworthy freelance weekend/event staff to work up at The Hungry Pine food trailer! The hours will be a little adhoc but mostly weekends/events/festivals/summer work.

The role will include serving customers from the truck, taking payments, using the bean-to-cup machine, some food prep including chip fryer, prepping burger buns etc. Some clean down towards the end of the day will be expected.

We pay above minimum wage and all staff are fed & watered during shifts.

MUST HAVE:
- Driving license (we are up in Gisburn Forest so no public transport available).
- Level 2 hygiene certificate.
- Customer service/ hospitality experience.

DO BETTER‼️You’ve shut the road for two days up to Gisburn Forest , on the nicest weekend of the year, with NO PRIOR WARNING. We couldn’t go home, we couldn’t warn our customers and a big event had to be cancelled. Oh! And cheers for the massive loss of earnings because you don’t know how to communicate 😡😤‼️ As a small business in the forest we rely solely on footfall! ‼️ The road workers have said they’ll be there tomorrow 8am until 4pmish. We’re trying to decide if it’s worth being open tomorrow.

Thank you to all our wonderful customers over the Easter holidays! You’ve all been amazing! 🥰😊🌲☀️✨ As some of you might know we lost a beloved hatch in the storms a couple of weeks ago and hadn’t had a chance to repair it, along with some other trailer maintenance that needs doing, we think it’s best to be shut for one day to get everything done and then we’ll be back open on Tuesday!
