Bowland Water Coolers

Bowland Water Coolers We supply coolers that can provide hot and cold water, coolers that provide ambient and cold water. If you feel thirsty then you are already mildly dehydrated.

We pride ourselves in providing one of the finest natural spring water in europe, with a personal, friendly and reliable service guaranteed

Most of us don't drink enough water but it is a vital element for healthy looking skin. Two litres a day is recommended more on hot days or during exercise. Water regulates body temperature, transports nutrients & oxygen and helps to detoxify the liver and th

e kidneys. It can also help prevent a range of short and long term health problems from headaches to cancer. We have been in the retail business for twenty two years and during the last six, we have expanded into supplying fresh spring water. In that time we have had the pleasure of gaining a number of valued customers. We operate our business from Bashall Eaves, in the Forest of Bowland, six miles from the centre of the kingdom and could therefore if the need arise, have fresh stocks of water to our customers within 24hrs. Not as with some when you fall into their rota, or even as some companies do, tell you how many bottles a month you have to have. We supply coolers that provide hot and cold water, coolers that provide ambient and cold water. They can be free standing and small enough to go on a desktop. The water itself comes from the village of Kilburn, near Thirsk, it is natural spring water, high in natural minerals and low in sodium, not purified or mineralised and therefore the body can easily absorb its mineral content. It is bottled on a regular basis to maintain its freshness and quality

Following last week’s headlining news on plastic pollution, we were pleased to hear that Network Rail has announced that it now will go ahead and install drinking water fountains at its leading stations.
As reported in the Times today, drinking fountains will be installed at stations to reduce plastic bottle waste after a change of heart by Network Rail. The company had previously resisted because of concern that it would lose rental income from shops that sell bottled water, claiming that such water fountains would take away the revenue that retailers receive from the sale of bottled water (and other drinks). But this comes at a price to the consumer and the environment.
Globally, 20,000 bottles are sold every second in our instant world and yet only 7% of this amount is recycled. The rest end up in the bin, in landfill and in the sea. A recent study by Plymouth University fund that a staggering third of all UK fish caught when examined contained plastic; causing long term harm to the species and to us humans! Who knows the affects downstream?
Campaigners have urged it for years to allow passengers to fill up their own drinking water bottles. Network Rail manages 18 of the busiest stations, including ten main terminuses in London, Reading, Birmingham New Street, Bristol Temple Meads, Manchester Piccadilly, Glasgow Central and Edinburgh Waverley.
London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, has commented that he has plans for up to 20 fountains and has allocated £750,000 in his draft budget to cut plastic waste over the next three years. Elsewhere in the capital, other newcomers to water fountains in recent times include London Zoo and Selfridges. The Natural History Museum is also considering such a move in a bid to end single use bottle sales.
So all good news indeed and we are sure to see similar eco-friendly initiatives such as this ripple across retail and business in the months ahead.
How can we all start to fuel this fundamental change in our behaviour. Consumers have great persuasion powers on retailers. Plumbed in water coolers , desktop for the home or floor standing for the workplace, deliver chilled and filtered water on tap. Great tasting to quench thirst and stay hydrated and great for our ‘eco’ consciences.
These water dispensers allow you to self-fill with your own cup or bottle; something that has been happening quite prevalent in gyms and sports clubs up and down the UK and is set to grow into many, many other areas.
Drinking water fountains, fed from the mains, as will be installed at the train stations will also allow this. We have some great offers to get you going in the campaign to reduce plastic and help build a better environment, while staying hydrated. Let’s all start to quell this monstrous rising tide of plastic.

It's one of the best things you can do for your health, and it's totally free.
The solution to most of your health problems could be solved with a simple trip to the water fountain. Seriously. Feeling groggy? Have a headache? Want to lose weight? Drink more water. Since your body is made up of about 60 percent H2O, it’s essential that we drink enough to keep our organs functioning properly and keep our body in tip-top shape.
Sure, drinking water is in just about every article about health and weight loss, but that’s because it’s so important. And people are starting to catch on; in 2016, Americans drank more bottled water than soda.
Whether you prefer pricey bottled brands, filtered from the faucet, or plain old tap water, sipping on aqua is essential for overall health. Make sure you're drinking at least 64 ounces a day to reap all of the health benefits—
