Last Wednesday, Kevin and Bethany visited The Bearded Pooch Academy to deliver our Dog Grooming Equipment Maintenance Session 🐾✂️

Throughout the session, students got a hands on learning experience of how to properly care for their equipment. This included how to correctly oil scissors and blades along with signs to look out for that will indicate your equipment is not working up to standard.

Emphasis is placed on how to put our teachings into practise within the busy salon work environment as we feel it is important to look after the tools that earn you your money.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Gemma for allowing us the time to visit and for professionally facilitating the whole event ❤️🐾

✨ A satisfying hand stripping transformation on this lovely Fox Terrier! 🤩

Fox Terriers may be small, but they’re packed with personality. Intelligent, fearless, and always ready for an adventure, they were originally bred to work alongside hunts, which is why maintaining their harsh, functional coat is so important.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about bringing back that crisp texture and rich colour through proper hand stripping. 🤍

And of course, I couldn’t have done it without my favourite Artero stripping knives from .❤️
They’ve been my go-to tools for long time, and now that I finally have this beautiful case to keep them organised, working with them is even more enjoyable. ✨

Whilst your work is being completed in our workshop, why not enjoy some time outdoors with the children or dogs before collecting everything later that day.

Appointments are available, meaning your work takes priority in the workshop and can be completed during the day.
