Connect with nature in Coatbridge 💚

Did you know there is a community orchard in Coatbridge?! 🍎 Join Coatbridge Community Orchard during for their Community Open Day.

This event is an opportunity to learn more about the project, hear about the volunteering work that takes place throughout the orchard and to get involved with your local community project. Come along and connect with nature by taking part in activities such as bulb planting and willow weaving. There will also be plenty of nature-based activities to get the little ones involved too.

You can find the orchard beside the bowling club. No booking is required, just head along on the day.

We had a great time last month making some progress with pruning and other tasks in the orchard - a huge thank you to all who helped out, especially to those who brought biscuits and coffee! The orchard is now starting to look really good, and there is some beautiful blossom on our pear trees right....
