What a Saturday it was this side too. Cheam Park with Lekker in London, the Horse & Groom full of green and gold in Wimbledon, and Prime Circle eating our food backstage. Lekker!

❤️ Celebrating the Life of our friend, "Mr. BillyTong"

In Loving Memory of Mark

Dear Customers, Supporters and Friends,

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that Mark, the founder and heart of Billytong, and loving husband to Emőke and friend to many, passed away suddenly and tragically.

Mark was so much more than the founder of Billytong. He was a friend, a familiar face, and a much-loved part of our community here in Cobham and back home in South Africa. His warmth, generosity and passion touched the lives of so many people. He will be deeply missed by his wife and family, his many friends in the UK and South Africa, and by the entire Cobham community.

We would like to come together to remember Mark, celebrate his life, and honour the legacy he leaves behind.

The gathering will take place on Thursday, 17 September at 3:00pm at Cobham Rugby Club.

We would be grateful if you could let us know if you are able to attend by emailing Emőke at [email protected].

In keeping with Mark’s generous spirit, please do not send flowers. If you would like to make a donation in his memory, we kindly ask that you consider supporting Crisis UK, a charity dedicated to helping people who are experiencing homelessness - a cause that was very close to Mark’s heart.

Thank you for your kindness, support and for helping us remember a truly special person.

Mark will be deeply missed, but his kindness, spirit and legacy will live on in all those whose lives he touched.

Right, Wimbledon — Saturday sorted.

Boks against the All Blacks, second test, kickoff 16:10. The Horse & Groom in South Wimbledon is showing it — and BillyTong will be there with the padkos: biltong, droëwors, chips, chocolates and sweets. Right next to South Wimbledon tube, so no excuses.

Be honest. The drawer's empty again, isn't it.

Fresh cut this week: biltong across 16 flavours, done however you like it - slices, chunks or sticks, low-fat, medium or wet and fatty. Tell us once and we'll remember next time.

Droëwors too, because someone always demolishes it before kickoff.
